Ceilings are harder than walls because every pass is overhead and raking light from windows shows any ridge. We feather the finish wide and check it in side light before priming.
Can you patch a ceiling without redoing the whole room?
Usually, yes. Damage is cut back to sound drywall, a new piece is fastened to the framing or to backing, and the seams are taped and finished. The patch is limited to the damaged area plus the feathered edge around it.
Can you match a textured ceiling?
We match common ceiling finishes such as smooth and knockdown. Popcorn ceilings are trickier. Send a close photo of the ceiling with your quote request so we can tell you what to expect before we start.
What should I do after a ceiling leak?
Get the leak fixed first, then let the area dry out. If the drywall is sagging, keep people and furniture out from under it. Once the source is fixed, send photos and we will quote the ceiling repair. See water damaged drywall for more.

How do photo quotes work for ceilings?
Take one wide photo of the room and one close photo of the damage. A ruler or a known object in the frame helps with scale. We send an itemized quote from the photos.
Will the ceiling patch show?
We feather the finish wide, sand it smooth and prime it so paint goes on evenly. Matching the paint on the rest of the ceiling also matters, since older paint can look different from fresh paint.
